About the Institute
The Global Institute for Biomedical Quality (GIBQ) is an independent standards organization dedicated to establishing and enforcing quality benchmarks for the research compound supply chain. GIBQ audits vendor documentation, evaluates compliance with the GIBQ 7-Point Standard, and issues the GIBQ Verified certification mark to vendors who meet the organization's independently verified benchmarks. GIBQ does not manufacture, sell, or profit from the compounds it certifies.

The Process
How GIBQ Verification Works
A three-step audit process that transforms vendor documentation into independently verified, publicly listed certifications against the GIBQ 7-Point Standard.
Submit
Vendors submit COAs and product labels from existing third-party laboratories. No new testing required — GIBQ evaluates documentation your labs have already produced.
Audit
GIBQ independently audits both the COA and product label against the GIBQ 7-Point Standard, verifying methodology, laboratory accreditation, result integrity, and chain of custody.
Certify
Passing vendors receive a numbered GIBQ certificate, the GIBQ Verified seal, and a permanent public registry listing — a searchable, independently maintained record of compliance.

A rigorous, non-negotiable baseline. Every certified product must pass all seven points, conducted by accredited independent laboratories.

Independence
How We Are Governed
GIBQ's value depends entirely on its independence. Our governance structure is designed to eliminate conflicts of interest at every level.
Vendor Independence
GIBQ does not manufacture, sell, or distribute peptide compounds. Our sole commercial activity is the issuance of certifications based on audit outcomes. We have no financial interest in any vendor's results.
Scientific Oversight
The GIBQ standard will be subject to review by an independent Scientific & Regulatory Advisory Board upon its formation. Board members will serve in a volunteer capacity and will be required to disclose conflicts of interest.
Audit Separation
GIBQ reviews submitted documentation against fixed, published criteria. Audit decisions are not subject to commercial override. A failed audit cannot be reversed without a full re-submission meeting the standard.
Public Registry
The GIBQ Verified Registry is publicly accessible to anyone — no login, no fee. Certificate numbers, audit dates, certified SKUs, and current status are available to buyers, regulators, and the public alike.

GIBQ's standards will be overseen by independent experts in analytical chemistry, regulatory affairs, and biomedical research. Advisory board members will serve in a volunteer capacity and will be required to disclose conflicts of interest.
